A meat-based CSA expands its offerings

Tim Axe, a northern Alberta organic farmer, got in touch with me recently to let me know that his Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) project, called The Meats Market, is adding fresh eggs and certified organic grains and stone-ground flours and cereals to its menu.

Made up of a group of small family farms in the Clandonald area called EAT Food For Life Canada (EatFoodforlife.ca), this CSA delivers to Edmonton on the third  Saturday of each month (or during the following week). A number of different packages are available, including combinations of beef, pork  as well as some lamb and poultry (when available).

Call Tim at 780-853-6046 or go to the website for further information.
